Reporter that Duterte cussed out: One-on-one interview might be a good apology

The foreign reporter whom President Rodrigo Duterte cussed out said on Thursday that a “one-on-one interview” might be an appropriate form of apology for the chief executive's words.
“On behalf of my dead missionary mother, a one-to-one interview might be an appropriate apology,” Jonathan Miller, the Asian correspondent of Britain's Channel 4 News, said in a tweet on Thursday.
n a news conference in Davao City after Duterte’s arrival from the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit late Wednesday, Duterte cussed out Miller after he asked him about killings related to his administration's drug war.
“P-- ina mo,” Duterte told Miller under his breath after ranting about the hypocrisy of US for criticizing the Philippines about the matter.

In a tweet, Miller said that Duterte “bestowed” him “the ‘Order of Son of a Whore.’”
He then followed this statement with hashtags #Obama #Pope, the same people whom Duterte had cursed before.
Miller also commented on Duterte’s promise to never curse again.
“President #Duterte swore to God he'd stop swearing - but some things just get his #goat,” Miller said.
Duterte had earlier said he has made a pledge to God to stop cussing in his speeches. He later retracted this statement, saying he was only kidding. —Erwin Colcol/JST, GMA News
