Masayang ibinalita ngayon ni Trade and Industry Sec. Ramon Lopez ang mabungang biyahe umano ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Japan.

Sinabi ni Lopez, lalo pang pinalakas ni Pangulong Duterte ang bilateral trade and investment relations sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Japan.

Ayon kay Lopez, katunayan ay nasa $6 billion na mga bagong investment at joint ventures ang iuuwi ni Pangulong Duterte matapos ang kanyang pakikipagpulong sa ilang Japanese business executives.

Sinaksihan umano mismo ni Pangulong Duterte ang paglagda ng mga Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), Letters of Intent on Investment Plans, joint ventures at expansion ng operasyon ng mga Japanese companies sa Pilipinas.

“PRRD met several Japanese companies and witnessed several B-B MOUs and Letters of intent on Investment plans, joint ventures and expansion of operations in the Philippines. This would be in the areas of manufacturing such as shipbuilding and iron and steel, agribusiness, power, renewable energy, transportation, infrastructure, mineral processing, retailing, ICT, IT-BPM,” ani Lopez.
