Greco Belgica to Ombudsman: I have filed a formal complaint against De lima, you have no more  excuse

Former Manila councilor Greco Belgica on Friday has already filed a formal complaint against Senator Leila de Lima at the Office of the Ombudsman, asking to suspend the senator for 90-days as the investigation on her alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade is pending before the courts.

Belgica has been vocal about his opposition to Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales' decision not to investigate De Lima, claiming that the testimonies against her were "mere allegations".

He said that there is a possibility that Morales would not act on his motion and that would only prove that the Ombudsman is biased, and opts to protect De Lima and the Liberal Party.

"Ang bilis bilis nyang imbistigahan si Bato dahil daw may admission, pero di niya sinisilip si De Lima na meron ding admission?" he said, referring to Morales' probe on Philippine National Police Chief Ronald Dela Rosa over the propriety of accepting a trip to Las Vegas to watch Sen. Manny Pacquiao’s fight.

He also questioned why Morales ordered immediate dismissal of Sen. Joel Villanueva from government service but no suspension for De lima.

"Bakit dismiss kagad si Joel, pero wala man lang suspension kay De Lima?" he said.

"Unfair, bias, namimili at nag bubulag bulagan ka dahil kaibigan mo si De Lima." he wrote.

He said Morales will now have no more reason she cannot investigate the lady senator.

"Your action will show your true color. Wag mo na po kaming lokohin. Dilawan po kayo at bias. No longer fit to become ombudsman." he wrote.

"Kung ganyan din naman po ninyo patatakbuhin ang Ombudsman, ISARA NALANG NATIN YANG OPISINA MO, DAHIL USELESS NA ITO!" he added.

The Office of the Ombudsman is yet to release a response to Belgica’s complaint as of posting.
